Job Description Compensation: $65/hr to $75/hr. - Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. A Fortune 500 retail client of Insight Global is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join their team. They need this person to help drive a project that is under a tight timeline and high scrutiny to the finish line. They will be building a tool for their internal finance team that will give them more visibility into their spending. The environment is fast-paced, leveraging cutting-edge technologies. The right person for this role is someone who's not afraid to work in ambiguous environments and get into the weeds of the work. About 60% of their day to day responsibilities will be coding, while the other 40% will be spent mentoring and leading the other 5 engineers on the team.
