Chubb, a leading global insurance company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated lead analyst to join our Strategy and Operational Analytics team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving data-driven insights and supporting strategic decision-making processes across the Claim Center organization. As a Lead Data Analyst at Chubb, you will have the opportunity to work closely with diverse insurance business leaders, including cross-functional North America teams, to gather and analyze data requirements and contribute to the development of business KPIs. Position Responsibilities:
Collaborate with insurance business leaders from various sectors, such as auto, property, casualty, and ISG, specifically within the Claim Center organization, to identify and clarify specific data requirements for each project, ensuring alignment with desired outcomes. Develop and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with business teams to track performance through data driven decision-making. Utilize advanced data analytics techniques, including statistical analysis and data visualization, to identify patterns, trends, and insights relevant to insurance claims strategy and operational analytics. Utilize a range of business analysis techniques, including driver analysis, root cause analysis, hypothesis testing, and ROI evaluation, based on team requirements. Transform raw data into meaningful and actionable reports, dashboards, and presentations that effectively communicate insights to key stakeholders. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and provide data-driven business recommendations based on analysis. Facilitate the data testing process by providing inputs on systems, data flows, and field-level values, ensuring accurate and reliable data for analysis. Build and maintain data dictionaries to document and organize relevant data elements, contributing to the overall data management and governance initiatives. Lead and mentor junior analysts on technical aspects by providing guidance in relevant data analyses, statistical methodologies, and advanced analytical techniques, while fostering a collaborative learning environment to enhance their skills and confidence in data-driven decision-making.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.Experience in a collaborative/consulting role for 5 years, working alongside business teams, operational teams, and stakeholders to develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and conduct data analysis that leads to impactful insights.Proficient in analyzing time series data and conducting statistical analysis while effectively manipulating complex data systems to generate valuable insights.Strong experience utilizing tools such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik).Possessing exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling the effective presentation of complex data insights and the ability to communicate to executive leadership.Preferred experience in the insurance industry, specifically claims centers and financial services.Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within assigned deadlines.Strong problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset to think critically and contribute to the organization's goals.Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating across various functions and levels of the organization.The pay range for the role is $96,200 to $163,500. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
