**About AT&T Chief Data Office**
The Chief Data Office (CDO) at AT&T is responsible for leveraging data as a strategic asset to drive business value. The team focuses on data governance, data engineering, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics to enhance customer experience, optimize operations, and enable innovation.
**Overall Purpose:** Design and deliver scalable, high-performance Data & AI solutions that transform complex data into actionable insights for strategic decision-making and business growth. Collaborate across teams, leveraging deep data warehousing expertise and staying aligned with industry trends.
**Shift timing (if any):** 12.30 to 9.30 IST(Bangalore)/1:00-10:00 pm (Hyderabad)
**Work mode:** Hybrid (3 days mandatory in office)
**Location / Additional Location (if any):** Bangalore, Hyderabad
**Key Roles and Responsibilities:** Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• **Design, Development, Testing, and Deployment:** Drive the development of scalable Data & AI warehouse applications by leveraging software engineering best practices such as automation, version control, and CI/CD. Implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure reliability and optimal performance. Manage deployment processes end-to-end, effectively addressing configuration, environment, and security concerns.
+ **Engineering and Analytics:** Transform Data Warehouse and AI use case requirements into robust data models and efficient pipelines, ensuring data integrity by applying statistical quality controls and advanced AI methodologies.• **API & Microservice Development:** Design and build secure, scalable APIs and microservices for seamless data integration across warehouse platforms, ensuring usability, strong security, and adherence to best practices.• **Platform Scalability & Optimization:** Assess and select the most suitable technologies for cloud and on-premises data warehouse deployments, implementing strategies to ensure scalability, robust performance monitoring, and cost-effective operations.
+ **Technologies:** Leverage deep expertise in Data & AI technologies (such as Spark, Kafka, Databricks, and Snowflake), programming languages (including Java, Scala, Python, and SQL), API integration patterns (like HTTP/REST and GraphQL), and leading cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) to design and deliver robust data warehousing solutions. **Job Contribution:** Accomplished expert known for innovative problem-solving and deep domain knowledge. Leads high-impact projects with strategic independence, shapes executive decisions, mentors junior staff, and drives long-term organizational initiatives through close collaboration with senior leadership.

Solving major business problems. **Education/Experience:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred, with 15+ years of relevant experience and demonstrated leadership in complex projects. Certifications in key technologies required; automation, GitHub Copilot, AI/ML, and advanced credentials in data engineering, cloud, or project management are highly desirable. Strong mentoring, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder communication skills essential.
