Summary: We are seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Software Engineer with a strong focus on full stack development of internal security tooling. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and building custom applications-ranging from web platforms to command-line tools-that empower engineering teams to securely build, test, and deploy their applications with minimal friction. These tools are critical to embedding security into the development lifecycle and simplifying integration with secure pipeline controls. You will contribute to the development and operation of these tools across multiple cloud environments and hybrid infrastructures. This includes the customization and integration of vendor products into a secure development ecosystem. This role reports directly to the Director of Security Engineering Enablement. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the design, development, and deployment of secure development tools used across engineering teams * Translate feature requests and technical requirements into actionable solutions for the team * Provide mentorship to junior developers in secure coding standards and engineering best practices * Collaborate with vulnerability management and threat detection teams to improve tool integrations and automate control monitoring * Work closely with architects and infrastructure teams to assess current systems and recommend enhancements * Analyze security artifacts and ensure appropriate remediation based on risk and environmental applicability * Contribute to incident response and post-incident analysis to identify and close architectural gaps * Stay current with emerging threats, trends, and technologies to recommend forward-looking improvements
