Kforce has a client that is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Integrated Architect in Alpharetta, GA. About the Role: We are looking for a strategic and hands-on cybersecurity architecture leader to join our organization as a Lead of Integrated Cybersecurity Architecture. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor and embedded partner to our product and engineering teams, helping guide secure design and implementation across both cloud-native and on-premises systems. You won't be setting abstract policy from afar-you will be in the trenches, bringing architectural guidance to life. Key Tasks: * Serve as the cybersecurity architecture point of contact for product and engineering teams, helping them understand and implement security design principles across AWS, GCP, Azure, and on-prem environments * Advise teams directly on architecture decisions, threat models, and secure control implementation as an integrated member of their workflows * Translate security requirements into practical solutions that align with business objectives, ensuring systems are resilient, scalable, and compliant * Collaborate with enterprise architecture and infrastructure teams to review current states, identify control gaps, and guide future-state security designs * Support the development and iteration of infrastructure-as-code and platform-level controls, particularly within Spring-based and Struts-driven applications * Help drive the decomposition of monolithic systems into secure, well-architected services * Participate in and support incident response efforts to identify root causes and recommend long-term mitigation strategies * Contribute to the evolution of cybersecurity reference architectures and advocate for consistent implementation across teams * Partner with compliance, legal, and risk stakeholders to ensure architecture supports regulatory alignment (e.g., NIST, ISO, GDPR, GLBA)
