**41738BR** **Extended Job Title:** Lead Custodian **Position Description:** Assigns and supervises the work of custodians and performs custodial duties involving the cleaning and care of buildings. Supervises a small group of custodians. **Requisition ID:** 41738BR **Travel Required:** Up to 25% **Major/Essential Functions:** + Ability to effectively supervise a small/large group of custodians. + Promote teamwork, communicate effectively, assists with surveys and inventories, trains new employees, and reports unsafe conditions to prevent accidents. + Light Duty Specialist: Empties trash, dusts surfaces, spot cleans various fixtures, and weekly detail cleans assigned areas, including white boards and glass. + Vacuum Specialist: Checks wastebaskets in offices to make sure trash is empty. Detail vacuums all high traffic areas weekly, Spot vacuums all other areas. Vacuuming includes visible debris, crumbs or dry spills on furniture, and detail vacuuming all assigned areas weekly. Repositions furniture correctly. Turns out lights upon completion.
