Roles and Responsibilities
Work closely with other team members to support a wide range of strategic initiatives including acquisitions, equity investments, joint ventures, and divestituresAssist other team members with day-to-day project leadership, including management of business valuation, due diligence activities, and internal communicationWork with the project teams on the target valuation process, including analysis of the forecast, cash flows, balance sheet, and synergiesProvide support for deal processes, including deal structuring, contract negotiation, and overall communication with internal and external partiesSupport development of the overall business growth strategy, including market analysis and target identificationDevelop a thorough understanding and analysis of core markets and adjacent segmentsRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or collegeMinimum of 2 years experience in finance or completion of a GE leadership program (e.g. FMP), with experience in performing financial modeling, valuations or due diligenceBroad and comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles within the financial analysis and valuation disciplineWillingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the timeDesired Characteristics
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is preferredMinimum of 2 years experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, or strategy management consulting, with experience in performing financial modeling, valuations or due diligenceStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to work in a cross-functional environmentStrong financial acumenStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsTrack record of results when handling multiple projects with competing prioritiesGE Aerospace offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
