About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management Officer within Global Operations to support the COO Data Domain. This senior Individual contributor is responsible for providing risk management and Control management support for the COO Data Domain and its applicable service model.
In this role, you will:
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications:
Data Management Expertise – Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with data management tools, techniques, processes, risks, and controls.Data Domain Controls – Deep understanding of Data Domain operating environments and control frameworks.AI Knowledge – Strong grasp of Artificial Intelligence concepts, including associated operating and control environments.Risk Framework Proficiency – Solid knowledge of the Risk Management Framework and its application.Policy-Aligned Data Solutions – Experience designing Data Domain processes and outputs that align with business requirements and comply with policies (e.g., Data Management Policy).Big Data & Warehousing – Experience working with Big Data platforms and Data Warehouses.Process Mapping & Lineage – Exposure to developing solutions using process maps and data lineage documentation.Gen-AI Risk Awareness – Familiarity with Gen-AI tools and understanding of their associated risks and controls.Industry Tools Experience – Hands-on experience with industry-standard data management products.JIRA & SharePoint Use – Proficient in using JIRA and SharePoint for collaboration and project tracking.BI & Analytics Tools – Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, etc.Time Management – Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.Cross-Functional Collaboration – Experience building partnerships and consulting with leadership, other departments and working across multiple geographic regions or territories.Organizational Agility – Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and support multiple high-priority efforts simultaneously.Analytical Thinking – Critical thinking and analytical skillsCommunication Excellence – Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities with the ability to clearly convey complex information and produce high-quality reports and documentationAdvanced MS Office Skills – Proficient in PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel at an advanced level(including pivot tables, advanced functions, and data analysis for strategic planning)Banking Industry Experience – Background in banking or multinational financial institutions.KPI Reporting – Skilled in creating KPI reports to monitor financial and operational performance aligned with business goals.Data-Driven Decision Making – Ability to leverage data insights to drive financial optimization and strategic decisions with a high attention to detail and accuracy.Risk Certifications – Holds or is pursuing professional risk certifications (if applicable).Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.Hybrid work schedule.
