About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management Officer supporting Commercial Banking.


In this role, you will:

Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging risks with broad impactAct as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional areaMonitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategiesMonitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional areaDevelop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controlsCollaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategiesLead Control Management project or virtual teams


Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

5 years’ experience in RCSA (Risk and Control Self-Assessment)5 years’ experience in Issues Management: identifying risk and controls, conducting root cause analysis to create remediation plans, remediation success criteria and control documentation5 years’ experience interpreting applicable laws, rules and regulations impacting controlsAbility to drive and lead organizational change, prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environmentAbility to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountabilityAbility to positively influence executive decision-making and successfully make quick decisions and implement solutionsAdvanced experience with Microsoft OfficeExperience communicating effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders and various LOB stakeholdersA BS/BA degree or higher preferred

This position offers a hybrid work scheduleAbility to travel up to 5% of the time
