Lead Consultant (f/m/d) for SAP MDG Material Master

Then come and join our global team as Lead Consultant (f/m/d) for SAP MDG Material Master to build the global master data system for material, financial and business partner master data within Siemens Healthineers.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

You have the overall responsibility for setting up and further developing our Healthineers SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) system in the area of material, acting as the primary contact person for our business lines and country representativesYou manage major changes and key projects related to material master dataYou drive our business by defining and prioritizing new requirements, as well as shaping the future master data processes and architecture in the area of material master dataYou oversee the continuous development of our SAP MDG application for Material, both in daily operations and in project contextsYou collaborate with our service providers to develop joint, business-oriented solutions for master data maintenance and ensure their implementationYou define the interfaces for the SAP MDG application to ensure seamless integration with external and internal processesYou take end-to-end responsibility for specific work packages, leading their design, implementation, and rollout in project modeYou independently identify improvement potentials and work out a budgeting and implementation plan for themYou support the System/Application Owner by collaborating closely on the coordination and handling of various system-related topics (e.g., compliance, security, reliability) together with the Technical Application Management TeamYou act as a proxy for the MDG System/Application Owner

Your qualifications and experience:

You hold a university degree in computer science, business informatics, or related fieldsThanks to many years of professional experience around master data management, you are used to reacting flexibly to situations and tackling several issues at the same timeYou have proven expertise in SAP MDGYou have strong experience in project management and in the preparation and implementation of cutover activitiesYou have deep knowledge and experience in SCM, PLM, or R&D, particularly in the area of material master dataYou are well-versed in SAP MDG on S/4HANAKnowledge about data quality management solutions is a plusYou have a very good understanding of interface technologies, advanced SAP technologies (e.g. BRF+), system integration, and ABAP programming

Your strong technical understanding and ability to analyze process flows make you a valuable partner for internal and external stakeholdersYou can represent IT’s perspective, implement strategic roadmaps, and maintain a clear vision of the overall structure of Siemens HealthineersYou communicate fluently in English, and German language skills are an additional advantageYou welcome the opportunity to travel internationally (approximately 10% of the time)
