Job Title: SAP BW Lead Consultant – AMS Projects
Experience Required: 5+ years in SAP BW, with at least 2+ years in a Lead role

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive SAP BW (Business Warehouse) Lead Consultant to manage and support ongoing AMS engagements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP BW/BI systems, a hands-on background in data modeling, extraction, reporting, and performance tuning, as well as experience in leading teams and engaging with stakeholders to ensure SLA adherence and quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
•    Lead and manage the SAP BW support team working on AMS projects.
•    Serve as the primary point of contact for BW incidents, service requests, and minor enhancements.
•    Provide L2 and L3 level support for SAP BW systems and related interfaces.
•    Monitor and maintain data loads, process chains, and reporting performance.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) issues.
•    Optimize BW queries and data models for improved performance.
•    Handle regular system health checks and proactively identify potential issues.
•    Coordinate with business users, functional consultants, and other technical teams.
•    Ensure adherence to SLA timelines and maintain proper documentation.
•    Support change management processes, regression testing, and go-live activities.
•    Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•    Minimum 8 years of hands-on SAP BW experience.
•    Proven experience in SAP BW on HANA and/or BW/4HANA is highly desirable.
•    Strong expertise in data extraction from ECC, S/4HANA, and third-party systems.
•    Good understanding of data warehousing principles, OLAP, and OLTP systems.
•    Familiarity with SAP BI tools (BOBJ, Analysis for Office, etc.) is a plus.
•    Experience in leading small to medium AMS teams and managing delivery.
•    Solid understanding of ITIL processes in AMS environments.
•    Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client-facing skills.
Preferred Skills:
•    Experience in integrating SAP BW with non-SAP systems.
•    Knowledge of S/4HANA embedded analytics and CDS views.
•    Exposure to Agile or ITSM-based delivery models.
•    Certification in SAP BW or BW/4HANA is a plus.
