**Job Description Summary**
Compliance professionals providing leadership and support to business operations to assure adherence to all aspects of internal company compliance and external regulations with technical remit and expertise that aligns to business needs. Ensures that appropriate mechanisms are in place to comply with industry-specific and other laws and regulations and adhere to company programs and practices for operational deployment of the Compliance program. Has knowledge of best practices and how their field fits in with others. The successful candidate will be based in Bangalore, India, reporting into the India & South Asia Compliance Manager and will be an empowered member of the GE HealthCare Global Compliance team.

Will be a key member of GE HealthCare Compliance function, having in depth understanding of key Business drivers and how the Compliance program elements and controls integrate within the Business teams to be able to support the rapidly evolving compliance landscape Globally and within India and South Asia.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Supporting the India & South Asia Compliance Manager to deploy a “best-in-class” compliance program, promoting ethical behavior and a strong compliance culture and identifying and reducing enterprise risks.
+ Individual contributor, with proven interpersonal skills, agility to navigate within the organization, and positively influence and secure stakeholder buy-in with clear and concise communication. Beyond collaboration within Legal & Compliance, Integrated Supply Chain, and Commercial functions, partnership with colleagues in Finance, Internal Audit, should also be anticipated.
+ Drive proactive compliance leadership and engagement to ensure that business colleagues are responsible for compliance with policies, processes, controls and other initiatives. Can handle sensitive issues with a focus on privacy and data protection.
+ This role will be expected to lead and support multiple elements of the compliance program such as Third-Party Compliance management (including, without limitation, overseeing due diligence and ongoing monitoring and contributing to risk escalations), Compliance risk assessment for Commercial and Integrated Supply Chain.
+ The role will require leading the development and implementation of colleague engagements through campaigns, trainings, and communications in partnership with Subject Matter experts in the India & South Asia Zone.
+ Lead awareness of GE HealthCare compliance culture, processes, and controls at Independent Third Party Sites through risk assessment.
**Qualifications/Requirements**
+ This role requires advanced experience in Compliance function for 6-8 years. Knowledge level is comparable to a master’s degree from reputed and accredited university or college.
+ Technical remit includes Medical Industry codes applicable in India & South Asia (e.g. UCMPMD, UCPMP), Anti-bribery and Anti-Corruption, Conflicts of Interest, Fair Competition, Public Procurement, Privacy, Export trade compliance and demonstrable skills in Compliance risk management and Compliance operations.
+ Knowledge of and ability to apply problem-solving and decision-making.
+ Strong data analytics skills: ability to locate and analyze facts to determine relevant actions.
+ Ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks and drive independently tasks and projects to conclusion in a fast-paced environment.
+ Interpersonal skills to work, team player and lead effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
+ Strong business acumen, ability to detect emerging compliance and industry trends and develop appropriate responses.
+ Demonstrable verbal and written fluency in English. Additional language skills will be advantageous
**Desired Characteristics**
+ Experience in handling Business tools such as SFDC, Navex, SAP.
+ Strong perseverance to be a change agent with the business,
+ Being open to change in response to new information and different or unexpected circumstances.
