We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Compliance Analyst to oversee and manage security functions related to HR operations, including but not limited to benefit plan operations. This role is critical in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information while complying with regulations such as HIPAA, HITECH, and internal AT&T standards.
What you’ll do
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols tailored to various data sensitive data sets.
Monitor and manage security risks related to data, systems, and infrastructure.
Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks.
Collaborate with IT, compliance, security, and other teams to ensure alignment on security standards and regulatory requirements.
Lead incident response efforts for security breaches or data leaks involving sensitive information.
Stay current on emerging threats, security technologies, and healthcare regulatory changes impacting sensitive data.
Coordinate with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and third-party vendors to ensure security compliance.
Act as liaison between the HR, including but not limited to benefit plan(s), and the security team of the larger org.
Manage security profiles of sensitive data containing applications.
What you’ll need
In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA, HITECH, and relevant state laws.
Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HITRUST.
Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, DLP, firewalls, encryption).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, HCISPP, or CISA are highly desirable.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related field.
5+ years of experience in information security, specifically within HR, healthcare or benefit plan environments.
Our Lead Compliance Analyst earns between $118,800 - $178,200 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
