Team Overview and Job responsibilities

This role will oversee and lead members of the Accounts Receivable team in collaboration with the team manager.  This role is located in our Highland Heights corporate location.

Supervises the day-to-day activities of staff that comprise the accounting function to ensure accounts payable activities.Supervises activities that might include invoice receive, booking, suppliers account clearance and development of payments proposals.Provide accounting support to suppliers.Responsible for accuracy, timelines, and the general integrity of the accounting data (including suppliers master data) and related reports of the assigned area of responsibility.Ensures support to the general ledger and reporting area by providing timely and accurate information.

Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or general accountingStrong understanding of accounting principles and collections practicesProficiency in Microsoft ExcelExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

Works out of a normal office environment with standard office equipment available.Extended periods of sitting or standing at a desk or workstation.Repetitive tasks such as typing, filing, and data entry, which may require dexterity and hand-eye coordination.Will be required to sit, bend, kneel, squat, use keyboard, read, write, and speak fluently.Employee will regularly be required to lift and carry objects of 5-10 pounds as needed.Employee will occasionally be required to lift and carry objects of 15-25 pounds as needed.Employee will be required to work productively and cooperatively in a high-volume, fast paced, highly pressured environment and be able to respond efficiently and courteously to unanticipated problems and crisis.This role is not typically exposed to adverse environmental conditions, except excessive eye strain.
