Job Summary:

The primary job responsibility of the Kids Camp Supervisor position is to assist the Program Manager by supervising the daily operations and all its related functions in the BC Kids Camp. The Supervisor is in charge of effectively communicating with the staff to assure the highest level of childcare as well as the smooth/efficient operations of the Kids Camp.

The BC Kids Camp Supervisor will be responsible for providing quality supervision and safety services for children 5 to 12 years old.  Duties will include scheduling, daily payroll accuracy, registration, maintaining State programming licensing standards, and communication with Beaver Creek guests and parents.

 

The supervisor is expected to have working knowledge and understanding of the Kids Camp State of Colorado child care license rules for its employees and guests, and USFS, State, and local permits.

Job Responsibilities:

Organize and schedule all employees of the Camp throughout the season, taking into consideration reservations and peak seasons.      Camp Supervisor will also be asked to develop ideas for activities and collaborate with Program Director on activity schedule. Maintain relationships with vendors to ensure a safe and quality experience for campers. Sets up and organizes programs daily to ensure a safe and positive environment for the children in the center and out in the field.  The supervisor will organize a daily schedule and divide the duties among the workers to ensure a regular schedule for the children on the mountain and doing off-site activities. Trains, manages and motivates the summer staff.  The supervisor also supervises and evaluates this staff with help of Program Director.  Communicates with parents through email, phone and in person interactions to register children from camp using Vail Resorts Sales software. Process paperwork daily for children participating in Camp including registration forms, liability waivers, immunization records and health forms. Keeps a daily inventory of games and supplies and lets administrative coordinator know of any ordering that is needed. Actively communicates and coaches all staff and responds to their questions and concerns in a timely manner.  Effectively communicates, and works, with the program Director and all other Beaver Creek departments needed for partnership in a successful camp. Handles any parents concerns for children in the camp. Maintains a safe working environment for all associates and guests; participates in all safety initiatives; and follows-up on all accidents in a timely manner and documents injuries appropriately.          Performs all other related duties as assigned or requested.

 

The expected pay range is $22.00/hr - $24.23/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
