As a trusted and empowered member of the EL Business Insights Team, you will support partnerships with ABB Business Areas and Divisions and develop a wide range of analytics solutions using visualization and analytics to provide data-driven insights for decision-making. You will be part of a global integrity analytics project for one of ABB Business Areas, helping to strengthen ABB's integrity program through insightful analytics delivery. The Business Insights team has grown over the years, and we are currently looking for an experienced individual that will help us deal with the increasing demand for our data products and widen the scope of the analytics we provide.

You will analyze ABB's global data across diverse business cycles, providing insights that influence decision-making at all organizational levels and geographies. Operating within a diverse, multi-cultural Business Insights Team, you will foster collaboration and leverage unique perspectives to drive innovation. Additionally, you will play a key role in establishing best practices for business analytics, mentoring team members, and championing the use of advanced tools and methodologies.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Own the design, development, and upkeep of complex data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools to support critical business conclusions.

Translate business objectives into processes, systems, and data structures to deliver actionable insights and enable data-driven decision-making.

Address business challenges by extracting and interpreting data-driven insights, and effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders across all organizational levels.

Design and implement experiments leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and other advanced tools to enhance the detection of integrity risks among ABB’s business partners.

Identify and implement best practices in analytics and reporting, including data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and thorough documentation to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications for the role:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance.

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in business intelligence, data analytics, data science, or a related field.

Deep understanding of SAP data structures and configuration, especially SD, FI-CO and MM modules as well as proven business domain knowledge in at least one area, such as Marketing and Sales, Forensics, Internal Controls or Procurement would be an advantage.

Strong expertise in data extraction and manipulation using tools like Alteryx and SQL, with a strong focus on data integrity and accuracy.

Proficiency in creating data visualizations using applications like Tableau.

Strong oral and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
