Lead Business Analyst
Climate LLC: Lead Business Analyst for St. Louis, MO to lead development of analytics to drive operational decision-making; lead strategic discussions on new technologies with business stakeholders; oversee preparation of automated reports, dashboards & data analysis; translate complex findings into actionable insights; administer team Jira board; assign tasks to junior team members; ensure data quality & accuracy; explore & validate data to derive actionable insights and provide data-driven recommendations to business stakeholders; mentor & train junior and senior analysts. Requires Master’s in Operations Research, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or closely-related field & 2 yrs experience as a Business Analyst or in a related position in the agricultural, geospatial and/or biotechnology industry(ies): developing advanced analytics for data within SAP transactional systems, databases, data warehouses, and Salesforce; creating data visualizations & dashboards and executing master data management for product sales & user account data using Tableau, PowerBI, Salesforce, and/or Looker; writing scripts in SQL, LookML, and/or VBA to automate business reporting processes; reviewing & ensuring accuracy and completeness of sales and engagement data using Looker, PowerBI, Braze, Heap.io, and/or Google Analytics; developing Python code with Domino to automate data analysis to support marketing campaigns; analyzing statistical reports to uncover patterns & correlations between product features and engagement data; evaluating data using SQL & BI tools to identify trends and opportunities for optimization; coordinating use & updating of Gitlab repositories to maintain version control & facilitate collaboration among team members; and ensuring code integrity & project continuity. Will also accept Bachelor’s in said fields & 5 yrs progressive, post-Bachelor’s stated experience. Telecommuting permissible from anywhere in the U.S. Up to 10% U.S. travel req’d. Salary Range: Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $120,000.00 to $145,000.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
