About The Opportunity
WeWork is currently seeking a Billing & Accounts professional in charge of collecting withholding and tax certificates, contacting members, and adjusting balances. Collaborate in the billing and collections process for multiple WeWork locations in Mexico. Must be well organized in keeping track of member details and able to work independently.
Use internal software to apply discounts, edit invoices, account balances, and respond to billing tickets. Able to communicate effectively via email and phone with CM members and team.
Ability to review legal contracts, invoices and payments on accounts and exercise sound judgment in resolving billing discrepancies w/ Members.
Coordinate with community teams and assist with housing tax requirements.
Implementing ad-hoc project for process improvement and comply with country specific requirements
Liaison between internal stakeholders, outsourcing vendor and our regional Shared service team.
Responsibilities:
Analysis and adjustment of accounts, balance.
Must be well organized in keeping track of Member details and able to work independently; Use internal software to apply discounts, edit invoices, and respond to billing tickets.
Able to communicate effectively via email and phone with CM members and team. Dynamic candidate who can perform tasks and learn the internal system quickly.
Coordination with Treasury on member refunds and payment receipts.

Pushing urgent payment collections from Members
Promote collections of urgent payments from Members
Ability to review legal contracts, invoices and bill payments and exercise good judgment to resolve billing discrepancies with members.

Liaison between internal stakeholders, outsourcing provider, and our region

Experience with Enterprise accounts +1000 employees.
Familiar with local tax regulations
About you
Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Proficient in English - B2
3 to 4 years of experience in a Financial Services, Billing or Collections role is a plus.
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Experience working directly with customers in a hands-on way
Exceptional influencing and problem-solving skills.
Be flexible enough to work in a fast paced environment.
