1. Cloud Platform Expertise

Hands-on experience in cloud platforms – especially AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Experience reviewing and handling exceptions to cloud security policies, ensuring alignment with mandatory security requirements.

Proven ability to drive consistent policy, process, and management across multi-cloud environments.

Strong background in Cloud Security, with expert-level knowledge in control assessment and risk management.

Exposure to incident management processes including:

Conducting incident reviews

Providing post-incident analysis, data, and reporting

2. Technical Skills & Tooling

Mandatory: Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP

Additional cloud exposure to Microsoft Azure or Alibaba Cloud is preferred

Proficiency in tools and scripting:

GitHub, Visual Studio

Python, Bash, PowerShell, SQL

Working knowledge of cloud security tools like JupiterOne, Wiz

Familiarity with data formats: XML, JSON, CSV

3. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement

Experience working closely with:

Cloud engineers, solution architects, and security stakeholders

Ability to coordinate with:

External vendors, platform owners for integration of security solutions

Strong cross-functional engagement skills to align with security standards and controls

Excellent written and verbal communication

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

Effective team collaboration across diverse stakeholders

Good understanding of Agile methodologies

5. Candidate Availability

Available to join within 15–30 days

Currently serving notice period (up to 30 days)

Willingness to work in UK shift hours

Good to Have:

Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools

Familiarity with CI/CD tools like:

Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, Nexus

Relevant security certifications:

CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or Cloud Security Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty)
