Job Summary\:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Auditor to oversee and execute first-party internal audits of our Base Operating Support (BOS) contract. The primary focus of this role is to ensure rigorous compliance with contractual requirements related to asset tracking, maintenance, and the effective utilization of our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The Lead Auditor will be instrumental in validating the accuracy of asset records, verifying adherence to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) maintenance specifications, and identifying areas for continuous improvement within our asset management processes.
Key Responsibilities\:
Plan, schedule, and conduct comprehensive first-party internal audits of the BOS contract, with a specific emphasis on asset management and maintenance activities. Validate the accurate tracking and maintenance of all contractually listed assets within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Verify that appropriate job plans and preventive maintenance schedules are assigned to each asset within the CMMS, ensuring full compliance with OEM requirements and industry best practices. Review documentation, records, and data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established procedures and contractual obligations. Identify non-conformities, observations, and opportunities for improvement; document findings clearly and concisely. Collaborate with relevant departments (e.g., Operations, Maintenance, Logistics) to facilitate audit processes and communicate findings effectively. Prepare detailed audit reports outlining audit scope, methodologies, findings, and recommendations. Experience\: 2-5 years of demonstrated experience as a Lead Auditor, preferably in a government contracting or base operations environment. Proven experience in auditing asset management, logistics, or maintenance programs. Familiarity with contract compliance auditing, particularly for performance-based contracts. Experience with various CMMS platforms (e.g., Maximo, SAP PM, Infor EAM) is highly desirable. Skills\: ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification is preferred but not mandatory Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to audit execution and reporting. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret complex data and identify root causes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate audit findings clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong initiative and self-motivation. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and data analysis.
