Inviting applications for the role of Lead Associate, FEA Engineer
Lead and support, all Aircraft Engine External Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS and relevant software’s according to aviation regulations and industry standards. work closely with engineers, and suppliers to ensure efficient and effective solutions are implemented in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
• Carryout High Cycle Fatigue (HCF) and Low Cycle Fatigue (LCF) life assessment, as well as limit, ultimate, and failure load assessments, and damage tolerance calculations
• Carry in hand calculations and applying engineering judgment as needed
• Define strategy for the given requirements with the GE design team before implementation
• Adhere to the schedules and milestones that are mutually agreed upon
• Participate during teleconferencing discussions daily and as needed
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering or a related field with minimum 3 years of experience.
• Should possess knowledge and work experience in structural integrity assessment of aero engine external components
• Experience in High Cycle Fatigue (HCF) and Low Cycle Fatigue (LCF) life assessment, as well as limit, ultimate, and failure load assessments, and damage tolerance calculations
• Proficient in hand calculations and applying engineering judgment
• Hands-on experience with Ansys Workbench Ansys APDL, and HyperMesh meshing (2D and 3D elements)
• Skilled in detailed finite element (FE) analysis for mechanical integrity, external components, and bolted joint calculations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Experience in the aero engine domain is preferred
• Familiar with test correlation, validation, results presentation and technical report writing
