**_What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health_**
Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
**Schedule:** Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm (Overtime when needed)
**_Responsibilities_**
+ Works closely with management to maintain receiving standards and ensure that proper processes are followed
+ Support the supervisor in leading the team’s efforts in adhering to all government (OSHA, DEA, SBOP, FDA) regulations as well as safety, security and cleanliness of the warehouse
+ Ensures that Cardinal Health’s principles, policies and procedures are consistently practiced
+ Coordinate workflow to accomplish overall business objectives (i.e., pick, pack and ship on time and accurately, cycle counts, returns, and clean-up). Fill in and perform functional tasks (i.e., stock, label totes) daily where/when necessary
+ Handles general employee inquiries and solves problems
+ Maintains positive employee relations; promotes team environment and facilitates process improvement
+ Work closely with other leads and supervisors within the facility to promote teamwork
+ Plan daily workload and assignments
+ Lead safety and quality discussions while maintaining productivity
**_Qualifications_**
+ Excellent interpersonal, organizational and follow up skills preferred
+ 4+ years experience, preferred
+ Proficient in Microsoft office
+ Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
+ High School Diploma or GED preferred
+ Strong leadership skills are essential

+ Works on complex problems that require independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues
+ Makes recommendations for new or revised processes and has a role on the implementation
+ Adheres to all quality guidelines
+ Works with minimal degree of supervision. Has latitude to make decisions in exceptional circumstances within established guidelines
+ Provides guidance to less experienced team members
+ May have team leader responsibilities but does not formally supervise
**Anticipated hourly range:** $26.20 per hour - $30.96 per hour
