Job Description Position Overview: A leading Marketing Agency is looking for a Lead Android Developer to join their team in support of an app modernization project for one of their largest automobile customers. The client is particularly looking for someone who can take ownership and lead the Android development efforts for the project. This role is crucial as the lead will be the main reference point for leading releases and ensuring the feasibility of promises made. The ideal candidate will possess strong thought leadership and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels. Project Details: The project involves a significant rebranding of an app, which includes both UI and architectural changes. The team is responsible for delivering 2 out of 5 tabs in the app. The lead will ensure the Android component is delivered successfully and keep the team aligned with project goals. Responsibilities:   Communication: Act as the primary communicator with customers, advocating and presenting solutions.   People Management: Manage the performance of two developers working under the lead. Technical Leadership: Ensure the Android piece of the project is delivered on time. The technical design is complete, but the lead will need to keep the team on track and may need to handle new feature designs.
