Job DescriptionAt WNS Digital we aim to change the way we (WNS) engage with clients over complex business problems using human-centered design as our central philosophy. The job of a Lead Interaction Designer is to envision how people experience product ideas and bring that vision to life in a way that feels inspired, refined and at times even magical. In this role, you’ll take on business requirements and moderate project scope and complexity. Provide direction to design team to transform user + business needs into intuitive, accessible, and easy-to-use solution designs or demos. At each stage of the design process, you will anticipate and guide what user needs are, advocate for them and ensure that the final output is built on solid Usability best practices, delights end users and has a confident buying from business investors. The primary ownership will be to lead client engagements and bring these solution prototypes to life that impacts revenue generation. At a basic level you are required to be a Design thinking evangelist, proponent of Human Centred Design, good knowledge about Service Design and a solution oriented humble leader to take on day to day challenges. Key Responsibilities: Moderate scope and complexity for various projects Serves as a liaison between the domain leaders, SME and technology teams to provide user experience solutions Partner closely with cross functional members to understand product requirements, guide user research, usability testing, synthesize findings, imagine & prototype possible solutions. Apply principles of UX design and review design outcomes on regular basis. Manage design team and mentor designers to endeavor their responsibility with less friction.
QualificationsProven record of working with UX teams, good communication skills both vocal and visual to express your thoughts / ideas. Experience in moderating / executing DT (Digital Transformation) or HCD (Human Centered Design) workshops. Good knowledge of Analytical / operational / statistical dashboards, Material Design, iOS guidelines etc. Enthusiastic about AI / ML integrated product solutions is an added advantage. Education – Graduate or Post-graduation in design is a must – preferably HCI, Interaction or similar areas or equivalent practical experience. 4-6 years of work experience in UX, managing design team, product design environment and has contributed across multiple product platforms – B2C, B2B, web, mobile, Adaptive, Responsive etc. Directly worked with client stakeholders; front-ended client engagements etc.
