Lead Analyst, IT - Rebates & Commissions

PURPOSE

 

We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Analyst, IT to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in the implementation, optimization, continuous improvement, enhancement, support and maintenance of our SAP Vistex. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying business needs, analyzing processes, and making improvements, fixing complex issues, enhancing the implemented solutions as needed to our SAP Vistex rebates, commissions and Vizi reports. Your insights and recommendations will be instrumental in ensuring seamless transactions and enhanced customer experience.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Business Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes and workflows related to SAP Vistex Rebates and Commissions. Identify areas of improvement and optimization to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Data Analysis: Evaluate data related to agreements, master data, sales, returns, credits and debits etc., Extract meaningful insights and trends from the data to inform decision-making and enhancements to SAP Vistex. System Evaluation: Assess the current SAP Vistex, including configuration, system enhancements, VIZI reports and leverage this knowledge to support, maintain and fix or enhance L3 type issues and requests by working closely with business stakeholders and other IT workstreams. Identify opportunities for process improvement, policy changes and system enhancements to meet evolving business needs. Solution Design: Collaborate with Vistex and development teams to design and propose solutions that address identified business needs. Create detailed business requirements documents for SAP Vistex enhancements. Review the functional design from sourcing partners for the complex enhancements and projects. Having techno functional knowledge on SAP Vistex preferred. User Acceptance Testing: Prepare test scripts, plan and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that system changes meet business requirements and user expectations. Review the testing from sourcing partners for the complex enhancements and projects. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of SAP Vistex configurations, functional designs, workflows, and user guides. Ensure that all stakeholders have access to relevant documentation. Training and Support: Assist in developing training materials and provide training to end-users, ensuring they can effectively use SAP Vistex system. Offer ongoing support to resolve issues and address user concerns. Vendor Management: Collaborate with Cognizant and Vistex teams to evaluate and implement new features, updates, and troubleshooting issues as needed. Compliance and Security: Ensure and comply with BFS data protection regulations, and security best practices. Other duties assigned: Ongoing Projects, Elevate S/4 deployment, upgrades etc.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

A minimum of 7 years of experience in gathering and analyzing business and technical requirements and demonstrated proficiency in translating business needs into technical solutions. A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Vistex Commissions and Rebates, including Vizi reports and SAP Pricing, with a deep understanding of Incentive Management, Paybacks, Billbacks, Chargeback and Customer rebate business processes. Proficiency in data analysis and modelling tools and techniques, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in extracting meaningful insights from sales and distribution transactional data to inform business decisions and optimize vistex system. A solid understanding of sales operations, different sales processes including standard orders, contracts, installations, service, labor, master data, pricing, billing, agreements, revenue recognition, EDI and FI integration. Experience working within DevOps, agile project management methodologies, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in agile project environments, including user stories, deliverables, tasks, actions, sprint planning, and iterative development. Familiarity with Integration of other systems and proposing best practices in sending or receiving data. Ability to understand ABAP code and be conversant in debugging. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent relevant work experience.

 

COMPETENCIES

 

Vistex Rebates and Commissions proficiency: A comprehensive understanding of various Vistex components, both Rebates and Commissions is essential. This includes knowledge of different configurations elements, required customization, development, keeping up with new features and developments of Vistex. VIZI reporting knowledge: Familiarity in building VIZI reporting solutions, configuration, customization to provide slice and dice of different vistex data and transactions. SAP Pricing: Proficiency in SAP S/4 Pricing is essential for defining the required configuration elements of condition technique supporting Vistex rebates and commissions. Documentation: Keeping existing documentation up to date with changes to the configuration, development etc., by updating configuration rationale document, functional design documents, preparing test scripts, user training documentation and knowledge article creation and update. Evaluates Problems: Evaluates and analyzes different types of information objectively to identify appropriate solutions; writes fluently, establishing the key facts clearly and interprets numerical data effectively. Technical Communication/ Presentation: Communicates with clarity and precision, presenting complex information in a concise format that is appropriate for the audience. Adjusting and Driving Change: Takes a positive approach to tackling work and embraces change; invites feedback relating to performance and deals constructively with criticism. Identifies the need for and drives change when required to achieve objectives. SAP Pricing Certified preferred. Experience with DMP and TPM preferred but not required.
