Lead Analyst, GPS Billing

Our team of experienced Government Public Sector Billing Specialists works with other Government Public Sector Finance professionals and Government Public Sector Contracts experts. They manage Deloitte's accounts receivables through timely and compliant billing of Deloitte's Government Public Sector clients. Work You'll Do + Brief contract billing data to support project setup in the financial system. + Post invoices to the general ledger. + Triage more complex receivable issues (e.g., contract close-out, general ledger cost postings). + Collaborate with other Finance and Government Public Sector Contracts professionals to maintain contract accounts receivable. + Analyze project costs to determine if they are allowed and billable. Use the contract and relevant regulations, such as FAR, DFAR, Fly America, and Lowest Available Airfare. + Prepare invoices for Government Public Sector clients. Include contract types like cost reimbursable, time and materials, and firm fixed price. Include related variations of each contract type. + Compile invoice backup documentation to comply with client invoice specifications and Deloitte internal records. + Prepare Booked to Billed reconciliation, perform aging unbilled analysis, and manage aging receivable collections. + Respond to Government Public Sector regulator and 3rd party audit requests. This includes voucher reviews, contract or funding close-outs, and business system audits. + Resolve complex invoicing issues caused by unique billing needs, project changes, or system problems. The team also improves existing systems, processes, and functions. Required Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or other business-related field. + 5+ years of relevant Government Public Sector client or contracting experience in accounting processes, such as invoicing, general accounting, finance, account reconciliations, and analysis. + Experience with online invoicing systems such as WAWF/iRAPT, IPP, MPO, HHMSA. + Knowledge of FAR/DAR/JTR/GSA. + Advanced Excel skills. + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Preferred Qualifications + Previous experience in a Government Public Sector professional services contracting environment. + Deltek Costpoint experience. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $69,400 to $127,900. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
