What you’ll need to succeed as a Lead Analyst, Communications at XPO
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing English, History, Political Science, or similar fields or equivalent related work or military experience 4 years of experience in Communications, PR or related functions in-house or at an agency Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and communications tools such as MuckRack, Globe Newswire and Sprout Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Deep knowledge of and intellectual curiosity about the dissemination and amplification of critical information within and outside of a Fortune 500 company Ability to work well with colleagues and to help bring together team members from different backgrounds in the pursuit of shared company goals Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a rapidly changing, deadline-driven environment
Preferred qualifications:
A track record of success and commitment to communications innovation, including the use of AI tools Experience in LTL, transportation or logistics

What you’ll do on a typical day:
Shape and execute communications strategies that support XPO’s brand, services and extraordinary team Manage critical external announcements from soup to nuts – developing strategy, drafting content, coordinating reviews, implementing distribution and tracking performance Search the organization for compelling stories and data to share across internal and external channels and in outreach to top-tier, business and trade media Drive XPO’s social media strategy, engaging the company’s 600,000+ followers with fresh and compelling content Develop spokespeople, including XPO’s senior leaders and frontline operators, for public engagements and media interviews Collaborate with partners across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Talent Acquisition, Safety and more to support key initiatives with strategic communications and expert counsel Conduct research on media trends, industry issues and competitive landscapes to generate insights and strategy recommendations Monitor and analyze traditional and social media performance metrics, offering recommendations to boost engagement and reach Build and maintain a robust library of media distribution lists, industry events and awards Serve as a “conductor” for the ongoing work of the Communications team
The Lead Analyst, Communications is required to:
Play a pivotal role creating and executing communications campaigns that drive positive perceptions, interest and demand among the media, investors, customers, employees and other key stakeholders
Employees are paid within a salary range based on their experience, skill set, and market.
New York annual salary range: $109,955 to $137,443
Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set (e.g., if an applicant far exceeds the minimum and preferred qualifications for the role).
