Lead AI Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Conversational AI Business Analysis Lead to join our dynamic team. This role requires a blend of business acumen, technical expertise in conversational AI technologies, and strong analytical capabilities. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in understanding client needs and driving the development of new implementations and enhancements of existing conversational AI solutions to meet our growing business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

Gather and develop business requirements to design, build, and improve internal and external Conversational and Generative AI applications.

Act as a key liaison between the business stakeholders and the technical development teams.

Get familiar with the virtual assistant development teams to define and document functional and system specifications as user stories in JIRA.

Prioritize system and data functionality requirements based on user needs, business analysis and project constraints.

Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to product owners, developers and/or other stakeholders.

Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements to product owners, developers, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood and resolved in a timely manner.

Manage User acceptance testing (UAT) activities and perform business checkouts during release and deployment weekends.

Become familiar with Agile ceremonies and processes (i.e., backlog refinement / planning, requirements gathering, daily stand up, demo meetings etc.)

Monitor and analyze Chat data to identify areas for optimization and improvement.

Serve as a senior member of the team to provide guidance and on-the-job training to junior team members.

Assist with building and maintaining internal and external AI powered virtual assistants from design to final ideation.

Understand product vision, strategy, roadmap, and evolution of virtual assistants to help the team execute on key deliverables.

Assist in training and maintaining Natural Language and Knowledge Graph models.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AI initiatives with overall business objectives.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience

4-5 years of relevant professional experience including at least 3 years as a Business Analyst

Experience with data and process modelling of business requirements and use of process modelling tools.

Demonstrated success in helping design and build digital applications, strong preference for experience with Virtual Assistants, Generative AI, or other Conversational AI solutions

Demonstrated ability to achieve results while working in a cross functional environment

Demonstrated ability to implement and execute on agile principals with strong digital and technical skills

Strong project management skills with ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines

Ability to work in close collaboration with a diverse global team

Team player with excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills

Detail-oriented individual with strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

Financial Services Industry experience

Conversational and Generative AI experience

Good understanding of user experience and conversation design concepts

Experience with Kore.ai or related Conversational AI platform, OpenAI technology and LangChain frameworks

Experience with Natural Language Understanding, Knowledge Graphs, and LLM concepts

Knowledge of Agile Methodologies

Familiarity with using the JIRA tool
