Lead Account Manager – Hardware (Ace Hardware)

You’ll lead all aspects of engagement with Ace Hardware, acting as the primary architect of our retail success in this channel. From strategic planning and promotional execution to in-store activation and performance analysis, you’ll be the go-to expert and trusted advisor for both internal stakeholders and the Ace Hardware team.

JOB DUTIES: 

Full P&L responsibility for a strategic Retail account. Defining sales and growth strategy while aligning with critical sales business objectives. Building relationships and understanding the customer's business needs in order to provide appropriate products or solutions. Identifying opportunities and building credibility with the customer by utilizing your product knowledge to deliver the value proposition.  Driving continuous improvement and lead change in a premiere Sales Organization. Manage and Grow Sales and Gross Margin for Ace Hardware. Identify Opportunities for Growth. Manage and Plan Account. Negotiate and Close Deals. Articulate and Deliver Value Proposition. Manage Momentum Through the Sales Cycle. Collaborative Forecasting. Lead Preparation for Customer/Industry Events. Establish Rapport with Customers.

YOU MUST HAVE:

5+ years of sales experience.

Experience in Hardware/Co-Op Channel. Excellent communication skills. Ability to influence at varying levels across the organization. Ability to handle multiple priorities and navigate in a highly matrixed environment.
