**Overview**
This SOP provides information regarding the position of The Gate Coordinator / Lead and their respective responsibilities.
**Purpose**
The purpose of this directive is to ensure that all Gate Coordinators perform their duties in a professional and proper manner.
**Responsibilities:**
1. The Gate Coordinator position will be staffed during the station's operational period.
2. Your punctuality is extremely important and necessary for the smooth operation of the Wheelchair department.
3. The Gate Coordinator must follow the General Employee Conduct policy and all Standard operating procedures necessary to complete the job as detailed.
4. Provide leadership and direction to team members
5. Oversee and perform wheelchair service including pre-boards to all passengers at your assigned zone.
6. Report performance issues to the Supervisor
7. Check equipment including Aisle chairs daily at your assigned zone.
8. Relay communication between team members, client, customers, and management
**Basic Qualifications:**
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
• No experience required and on the job training provided
**SALARY: $22.91/hr.**
