Job Summary
The Design Lead at HCL focuses on overseeing the Plant Design Management System (PDMS), Plant Modeling, and Piping functions. The role involves managing and collaborating on various design projects within the scope of plant design, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to project timelines. (1.) Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and coordinate the design team in utilizing plant design management system (pdms) for efficient project execution.
2. Develop and implement plant design strategies and standards to enhance overall project delivery.
3. Manage plant modeling activities to create accurate and detailed plant layouts.
4. Ensure effective piping design and layout within plant design projects.
5. Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate piping systems with overall plant design.
6. Conduct regular design reviews to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
7. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior design team members.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and technologies related to plant design and management systems.
