Overview

The Business & Market Insights Platform Infrastructure Engineering team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this agile team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include payments-focused consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, business Test & Learn experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services.
Mastercard’s Business & Market Insights Platform Infrastructure Engineering team is responsible for the deployment, configuration, maintenance, backup and support of multiple on-premise and cloud hosted data centers. In this role, you will lead and be given the ownership and resources to solve challenging technical problems. Role

•\tLeading the Procuring, installing, managing, and monitoring physical and virtual infrastructure in both local and remote geographies.
•\tLeading the Deployment, configuration, maintenance, backup and support of private/hybrid cloud hosted data centers.
•\tLeading & Supporting multi-geography, multi-cloud deployments across the Azure, VMware, and AWS
•\tWorking together with integrated, cross-functional Dev-ops and Development teams
•\tVendor Management and collaborating with multiple teams across geography
•\tAutomating commonly performed tasks, using scripting tools such as Powershell, Ansible, and Python
•\tSupporting virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V, VMware, and KVM
•\tWork with internal stakeholders to provision, provide access, and troubleshoot various testing and production resources
•\tManage backup and recovery operations for products deployed in the cloud environment
•\tParticipate in on call rotations, responding to after-hours incidents in a timely manner
•\tMentor junior engineers and teammates
About You
•\tExperience leading a cross-geography team, coordinating efforts across time zones.
•\tExperience with Microsoft Enterprise Products (Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory etc.)
•\tStrong experience in the Deployment/Configuration/Maintenance of the Private/Hybrid Cloud.
•\tSignificant experience with cloud technology such as Azure, Azure stack hub or AWS, KVM Hypervisor or HCI solutions.
•\tStrong desire and prior experience automating common tasks.
•\tExperience deploying and supporting Virtual machines an enterprise level/on cloud platform.
•\tAbility to solve complex problems independently and in a team setting.
•\tCompetency using industry standard automation/scripting languages (e.g. Powershell, SQL, Python).
•\tExperience with Terraform or Ansible
•\tBackground on cloud native tooling and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes)
•\tAbility to balance competing tasks and prioritize
•\tProven ability to communicate with team members effectively
•\tStrong analytical, and problem-solving skills
•\tUnderstanding of working in an agile team environment
•\tProven ability to build trust and partnership with stakeholders
•\tStrong sense of urgency and drive

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. Pay Ranges

Arlington, Virginia: $129,000 - $215,000 USD
