**Shipping Lead – 1st Shift** **Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7AM - 3:30PM** **Pay: $18.95/hr** **What will you do?** **A day in the life of a Shipping Lead at VF looks a little like this.** _Under the general direction of the shift supervisor, this person will be an active leader for employees. The Shipping Lead will assist the supervisor in the execution of facility operations to meet production goals within the Shipping & Receiving department._ Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more. + _Lead associates in the Shipping operation during their shift, ensuring smooth workflow and timely order processing_ + _Be visible and vocal within the department, stepping in to support or fill in for associates as needed._ + _Delegate responsibilities effectively and ensure all associates are aligned with daily goals._ + _Use strong communication skills to coordinate between departments, shifts, and management._ + _Coach and train associates, providing ongoing support and feedback._ + _Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures._ + _Support associates in their daily duties to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment._ + _Ensure all associates meet or exceed daily productivity goals._ **What do you need to succeed?** **The foundation skills you will need in this position are:** + _2–3 years of experience in Shipping and/or Warehouse Operations._ + _Past leadership experience directing workflow and/or leading a group of employees._ + _Strong multitasking, organizational, and leadership skills._ + _Ability to interact well with all levels of employees._ + _Excellent oral/written communication skills in English._ + _Computer knowledge and experience using RF scanners._ + _Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8–12 hours._ + _Willingness to work overtime and on alternate shifts as needed._ **There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.** + _Familiarization with PKMS system._ **What do we offer you?** At VF, we know you expect as much from us as we do from you.
