As a Lead, IT Solution Support, you will be responsible for managing technical deliverables for Stryker’s custom applications on the Heroku platform, including enhancements, bug fixes, and architectural solutions aligned with business requirements. This role involves collaboration with CRM, ERP, and Middleware teams to design, develop, and maintain applications, ensuring seamless integration and efficient build-to-run transitions. Additionally, the position includes administering the Heroku PaaS, recommending improvements to development and system standards, and independently applying professional expertise in evaluating complex technical challenges.

What you will do

Assist and lead in the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex, high-performance, and scalable web and iOS mobile applications using React.js, React Native, and associated libraries.Perform architecture, design, development, and maintenance of Stryker home-grown custom web and iOS mobile applications, such as EIM and Repsuite, on the Heroku platform.Act as a subject matter expert in React.js and front-end development techniques, mentoring and providing guidance to junior developers, conducting code reviews, and supporting their professional growth.Write, modify, and debug applications using the relevant tech stack for React JS, React Native, TypeScript, and Node.js.Design and develop reusable custom application components that meet customer requirements while upholding high standards of reliability, security, maintainability, and performance.Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and bugs, ensuring the stability and reliability of the applications.Proficiently design, develop, and manage Postgres – SQL DB solutions.Design, develop, and troubleshoot integrations with Salesforce CRM and ERP applications using APIs and Heroku Connect.Offer best practices advice and recommendations to the Managed Services team around overall React JS custom applications architecture and Heroku Platform strategy.Assist in defining, scaling, and managing Heroku PaaS and related components.Follow SDLC best practices and coding principles for successful delivery of bug fixes and enhancements.

What you need

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study.4+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and managing custom web and mobile applications using React JS and React Native.Experience in TypeScript and Node.js for custom web application development.Experience in SQL databases such as Postgres DB.Experience in IS methodologies such as ITIL, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile Development

Preferred:

Master’s degree.Experience in administering Heroku platform.Experience working on integrations with CRM, ERP and other cross applications using APIs and Heroku Connect.Experience in PaaS concepts and working with PaaS vendor teams.Experience in MedTech industry and Field Inventory Management process

Travel Percentage: 10%
