The Lead, IT Portfolio Management is responsible for aligning the IT portfolio and demand in close collaboration with the business portfolio team. This role addresses problems of diverse scope and complexity, providing leadership in organizing and prioritizing IT projects and programs to ensure alignment with the company’s IT strategy, roadmap, and available resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business and IT leaders to align portfolio priorities with organizational strategy and objectives.Organize and prioritize projects and programs based on strategic roadmap, budgets, and scheduling changes.Ensure appropriate financial and organizational resources are allocated to priority initiatives.Advise executives on portfolio strategy and operational alignment, frequently on matters of segment-specific significance.Exercise independent judgment and decision-making on complex portfolio management issues.Lead special projects, including the production of key metrics, measurements, and trend reports.Manage multiple tasks and deadlines, ensuring attention to detail and timely completion of deliverables.Communicate effectively with senior leaders, delivering clear presentations and status updates.Contribute to an organizational culture focused on continuous improvement of consumer experiences.Remain adaptable to evolving priorities as business needs and strategic direction develop.Use your skills to make an impact
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.8 or more years of technical experience within IT or related environments.Minimum 2 years of experience in project leadership roles.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously with a high level of detail orientation.Strong presentation and communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership.Proven track record in leading special projects and delivering actionable reporting.Demonstrated passion for improving consumer and business outcomes through IT solutions.Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or other advanced degree.SAFe Lean Portfolio Management CertificationStrong understanding of operations, technology, communications, and business processes.Six Sigma and/or PMP certification.Experience managing large-scale, highly visible programs involving multiple project teams.Background in insurance or healthcare industry portfolio management is a plus.Additional Information:
