It delivers the training, tools and opportunities needed to create innovative solutions for the function & the corporation. GSM has leading edge, effective processes to anticipate and exceed customer requirements. The role of Procurement Operations Regional Manager is a pivotal position within the GSM organization, strategically overseeing the PO process, Business Purchase Requisitions, Contract Process, and Invoice resolution process within the EMEA region. The incumbent will play a key role in effectively managing Procurement Operations objectives in the region. Collaborating closely with various business units and stakeholders, the Procurement Operations Regional Manager will spearhead the efficient and effective execution of procurement activities. Reporting directly to the EMEA Operations manager, with a dotted line to the Procurement Operations Manager in NA, this role entails driving process improvements and fostering strong cross-functional partnerships. The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency and working closely with other functional teams. **Required Skills:** • A bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or a related field, accompanied by a minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field. • Demonstrated expertise in managing Procurement processes. • Profound knowledge of procurement systems and tools, with proficiency in software such as SAP, Oracle, S4H, or equivalent. • Proficient in Microsoft tools. • Strong financial acumen, including cost analysis and data optimization capabilities. • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines. • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance aspects of procurement. • Excellent communication skills for liaising with businesses, the Global Supply Management function, suppliers, and the Shared Services Center. • Strong decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment. • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. • Team leadership and active participation skills. **Desired Skills:** • Experience in managing Procurement Operations processes within a multi-country or global context. • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, such as Excel, PowerBI, or other Business Intelligence software. • Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices and corporate social responsibility. • Strong problem-solving skills. **Soft Skills:** • Outstanding leadership and team management abilities, capable of inspiring and motivating team members. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. • Strategic thinker with robust problem-solving capabilities, adept at identifying opportunities and implementing solutions. • High level of integrity and professionalism, handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion. • Adaptable and flexible, thriving in dynamic and fast-changing environments. • Excellent presentation skills to drive optimal outcomes for the organization.
