Program Summary
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 10 countries.
Job Summary
As a Senior Logistics Warehouseman, Food Service (FS) you will be responsible for supervising warehouse operations, overseeing the issue, receipt, inspection, storage, and inventory of subsistence (Class I) and consumable (Class II) supplies in support of dining facility operations. You will play a critical role in warehouse layout planning, document preparation, and report generation. Additionally, you will assist with inventory management tasks and ensure compliance with contract performance standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
Supervise warehouse employees during the issue, receipt, inspection, storage, and inventory of Class I and Class II.
Oversee daily checklist completion to ensure contract performance standards are met.
Oversee daily food protection, sanitation, and pest control activities.
Plan warehouse layout and establish document files.
Prepare required documents and reports.
Assist with cyclic inventory and investigate discrepancies.
Ensure proper planning, receipt, storage, and issue of supplies and control of project-furnished equipment.
Provide leadership in creating organizational structure and executing service requirements.
Offer technical guidance and training to assigned personnel.
Monitor and review work performance for compliance with contract, schedule, and quality standards.
Advise team on status, issues, impacts, risks, and safety updates.
Conduct quality self-audits to ensure compliance with local policies and procedures.
Conduct performance evaluations and participate in the selection/retention process.
Work may require extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a NACI. Due to this, you must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Green Card holder who has lived within the United States for at least the last 3 years to be eligible for this position.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience in warehouse operations.
Must have knowledge of Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS) and DLA Subsistence Total Order and Receipt Electronic System (STORES) processes.
Requires English fluency.
Requires Serv Safe certification.
Must have a valid Driver’s License.
Must be able to work under stressful circumstances and meet short deadlines.
Requires the ability to perform duties while wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Must be able to lift/move up to 45 lbs. unassisted and up to 80 lbs. with assistance.
Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
