Job Summary

As a Toolroom Attendant you will be responsible for the management, issuance, and maintenance of tools, gauges, and measuring instruments used by maintenance personnel. This role ensures that all tools and equipment are in safe, working condition and properly calibrated. The Toolroom Attendant maintains accurate inventory records, supports calibration scheduling, and assists in training entry-level staff. The position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a strong attention to detail.

Roles and Responsibilities

Issue, receive, and classify tools, gauges, and measuring instruments from the Maintenance Shops.

Inspect tools and equipment for operational condition and serviceability.

Clean, organize, and store tools properly to ensure readiness and safety.

Turn in broken or unsafe tools and prepare requisitions for replacements.

Perform regular inventories of mechanic toolboxes, general shop sets, petroleum products, vehicles, furniture, and shop supplies.

Conduct daily spot check inventories to ensure accountability and availability.

Maintain calibration records for Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).

Track equipment requiring calibration and load testing.

Coordinate the turn-in and pick-up of equipment scheduled for calibration via the Materials Tool Room.

Maintain sign-in/out logs for tools and test equipment.

Archive maintenance files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.

Establish and maintain a location system for easy identification and retrieval of tools and equipment.

Assist maintenance personnel and customers with tool and equipment requests.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

High School graduate or equivalent 2 years or more experience in automotive tools and equipment.

Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds.

Ability to identify tools and test equipment.

Must have a valid vehicle driver’s license and maintain its validity for the duration of employment.

Basic Computer skills.

Fluency in Albanian and possessing an unrestricted right to work and reside in Kosovo.

​Preferred Qualifications:

English language proficiency.

Advanced computer skills and knowledge of MS Office software.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive maintenance.
