Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on a wide range of production equipment, including numerical control (NC) and computerized numerical control (CNC) machines, downhole drilling tools, and mobile vehicles. The role supports manufacturing and testing operations by ensuring equipment reliability and functionality across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and other specialized systems. The technician contributes to operational efficiency and product quality by minimizing equipment downtime and ensuring timely repairs.
Roles and Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair NC, CNC, precision, and conventional machine tools used in production.
Maintain and service gasoline, diesel, and battery-operated vehicles and mobile equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on downhole drilling tools, motors, and other specialized equipment.
Specialize in areas such as electrical, mechanical, vacuum, hydraulic, refrigeration, and machine tool rebuilding.
Use measuring instruments to assess equipment condition and determine necessary repairs.
Identify and source replacement parts as needed for maintenance tasks.
Perform limited welding, basic plumbing, and grinding activities.
Interpret and work from technical prints and schematics.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex equipment issues.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
Hands-on experience with NC/CNC machines and downhole drilling tools.
Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints.
Experience using diagnostic tools and measuring instruments.
Basic welding and plumbing skills.
Must have a valid vehicle driver’s license and maintain its validity for the duration of employment.
Fluency in Albanian and possessing an unrestricted right to work and reside in Kosovo.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple technical domains.
Experience working in a manufacturing or testing environment.
A level of proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
