Wage (gross) and other rewards:  minimum 1450€ / monthly (depending on experiences and quality of the candidate) + Annual global incentive plan-bonus and other benefits in compliance with social benefit program of the company

The role:

The Technical Project Manager oversees the project management, planning, execution, tracking, and reporting of new product development and lifecycle management projects in accordance with agreed upon scope, timing, and budget. The role requires driving cross functional project execution through collaboration with various functional groups, including R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations and Commercial teams. 

Key Responsibilities:

Consistently project manage and deliver projects to ensure completion on time within the agreed scope and budgetWork with cross functional project teams to provide a coordinated and collaborative approach  Lifecycle Management projects.Create detailed work plans for assigned projects which identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully complete each project and establish the resources (time, money, capital equipment, etc.) required to complete the project activitiesWork within a cross functional team to ensure workstreams are appropriately planned and integrated into master schedules

Develop communication plan and provide updates on assigned projects to stakeholders.

Review project schedules with senior management and project team members; revise schedules/plan as required to ensure successful completionProactively identify and mitigate project risks. Escalate as appropriate to ensure timely resolution of identified issuesManage compliance to both Design Control and Business processes, such as preparation for Gate reviews with core team and ensuring rigorous adherence to IDEAL, the Convatec new product development processSet up files to ensure all project information is appropriately documented and securedSupport the PMO to develop and enhance project management tools, processes, and systems to ensure consistent and efficient ways of working

Authority (if applicable):

Can make decisions in consult with the New Product Delivery Lead on timeline e.g. opportunities to accelerate. Is expected to challenge assumptions provided by all project stakeholders with the aim of ensuring accuracy and quality in aggressive yet realistic timelines.

Skills & Experience:

2+ years of experience successfully managing and delivering New Product Development or Lifecycle management projectsPrior experience developing medical devices strongly preferredStrong proficiency in the use of MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, database software, MS Outlook, Project Management Cloud SoftwareStrong communicator; Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques.Leader and team-worker who actively looks to develop themself and others; proactively networks across a complex organizational hierarchy and works cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals and resolve problems

Qualifications/Education:

BS in Engineering or Science discipline; MS preferredProject management certification is preferred (CAPM, APM or equivalent)

PMO Lead – will provide oversight and coaching as well as assigning tasksProject Core Team Members – will provide overall status of assigned tasks for tracking and input to the project planNew Product Delivery Lead – accountable for delivery of project.  Key stakeholder to keep informed of project status, risks and issues.

External – Vendors, logistics partners, 3rd party suppliers

Travel Requirements

Position may involve travel up to 10% of the time, within the United States and Europe. Most trips will include overnight travel.
