What You’ll do

 

As a Layout Specialist you will be responsible for designing the ongoing changes to current store layouts while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and quality in the plans. Working with Space Planning, Buyers, Procurement, and Store Operations, the Specialist will determine prototype layouts for departments and zones and then adapt them to existing store layouts for implementation. They will also receive and evaluate requests from stores to make ongoing changes and ensure these are accurately reflected in plans. The successful candidate will have a track record in working collaboratively, synthesizing input, working the details, and delivering high quality outputs on time.

 

Maintain all current and prototype store layoutsWork with buyers, space planning and district managers to design layout changes based on strategies, budgets, and available space.Ensure a high degree of currency and accuracy in all layoutsEstablish, maintain, and evolve apparel area layouts as assortment and seasons changeReport on category and department space usage, productivity, and inventory and make informed recommendations for ongoing changes.Develop layouts for remodels and existing store initiatives.Establish and maintain a playbook to guide layout decisions and implementation.Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.Use discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leverage these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments. Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively. Essential Qualities for Success

 

High Attention to detail, organized, and with strong time management skills.Communication and relationship building with stakeholders across the organizationMicrosoft office skills - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.Knowledge Vizio, AutoCAD, MicroStation would be beneficial.Retail planning, layout, and\or planogramming experience.Knowledge of hard goods and rural\farm store retailing.

 

Physical Requirements 

 

Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.Capability to lift 15 pounds periodically.Ability to navigate and access all facilities.Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.Close vision for computer-related activities.

The pay range for this position is $46,000 - $51,000 annualized and is bonus eligible. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs.
