A law firm seeks a full time Collections Clerk with 5+ years of experience.
Responsibilities:
This candidate will be responsible for a variety of functions, including: managing A/R collections; drafting correspondence to attorneys/clients; preparing collection reports for management; meet with attorneys and management; navigating e-billing sites in order to obtain payment status, reductions, etc. and other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented self-starter who can function efficiently and effectively in a high volume department. Excellent communication skills and the ability to act with courtesy and professionalism are required. Candidate must have strong organizational skills for prioritizing numerous assignments and completing them within established time frames. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (including Excel). Accounting background with strong technical, analytical and collection skills. Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision and as a team. Experience in a law firm.
