Responsibilities The Laundry Washer/Attendant's typical job functions include: Operating washers, dryers and irons Folding and placing items in appropriate storage areas Sorting and counting articles to verify quantities on laundry requisitions Loading articles into washers and dryers Programming laundry machines you will change out chemicals when the drums are low will clean off washer before shift ends and keep washroon clean keep washer papers up to date as loads go into washers and dryers Have a positive attitude Qualifications This position may for you if: You are 18 years old You are available to work nights, weekends and holidays You are able to lift up to 50 pounds You are able to stand for long periods of time nightly You are available to work 2nd shifts You are available to work every 3rd Saturday You are available to work overtime in the busy peak season
