This is a Sherman Associates owned Marriott International, Inc franchised location. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring there is an adequate supply of linen available to meet the demand of the hotel. Schedule: We are currently seeking part-time availability to include both weekdays and weekends from 5:00PM - 10:00PM. Pay: $16.00 - $16.50/hour. Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position; including experience, skills, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job. Essential Functions + Receives dirty linen from housekeeping staff and separates linens and towels by type + Washes, dry’s and folds laundry following proper procedures + Maintains the organization of the laundry room + Follows all safety and OSHA regulations and other applicable state and local regulations + Tracks and reports linen shortages, damages or other discrepancies to appropriate manager + Maintains product quality standards by inspecting and properly treating stained or torn linens Required Experience: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS + No prior housekeeping experience required.
