About the location:
AMAALA is situated along Saudi Arabia’s northwest coast and is home to some of the most diverse natural environments. We are looking for a technically skilled Laundry and Kitchen Mechanic to join the Engineering team at Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of all laundry and kitchen equipment, ensuring these critical systems operate safely, efficiently, and according to Four Seasons standards. You will also play an essential role in supporting the technical setup and readiness of all equipment during the resort’s pre-opening phase.
What You Will Do
Assist in reviewing installation, testing, and commissioning of all kitchen and laundry equipment during the pre-opening phase, ensuring systems meet operational standards.
Conduct snagging inspections for newly installed equipment, report deficiencies, and support rectification efforts.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on kitchen equipment such as ovens, dishwashers, exhaust systems, refrigerators, freezers, cooking ranges, and steamers.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on laundry equipment including washers, dryers, flatwork ironers, dry-cleaning machines, and pressing equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime and impact on guest services and operations.
Monitor the performance of kitchen and laundry systems to ensure maximum efficiency and compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs, and equipment inventories.
Collaborate with the Culinary, Stewarding, Housekeeping, and Laundry teams to respond promptly to operational needs and maintenance requests.
Assist in maintaining exhaust hoods, grease filters, and fire suppression systems in all kitchen areas.
Support inventory management for kitchen and laundry spare parts, tools, and supplies.
Participate in energy conservation initiatives and best practices in utility management.
Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and legal regulations related to electrical, gas, water, and mechanical systems.
Provide support during emergency situations, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
What You Bring
A diploma or certification in Mechanical Maintenance, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical trade.
Minimum 3 years of experience maintaining commercial kitchen and laundry equipment, preferably within luxury hotels, resorts, or high-end facilities.
Strong technical knowledge of gas and electric kitchen equipment, refrigeration systems, and industrial laundry systems.
Familiarity with fire suppression systems, exhaust hoods, and preventive maintenance procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and equipment specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Proficiency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.

This is a full-time operational role with flexible working hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on business and maintenance needs.
