This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.The team at New Glenn’s Orbital Launch Site is driven by safety and teamwork, alongside unparalleled execution and leadership. As part of a hardworking team technicians, you will be responsible for assisting engineering in test operations, fabrication, maintenance, and Flight/test article integration for various New Glenn boosters, specialized equipment, and flight hardware. We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Responsibilities:
Launch vehicle operation, maintenance, and assemblyLaunch vehicle integration and checkoutAssembly, fabrication and routing of pressurization and propellant tubingInstallation and checkout of wire harnesses and instrumentationPerform second party verifications and hardware inspections to engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written proceduresTroubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenanceGeneral trouble shooting of instrumentation, valves, leaks, etc.Reviewing, editing, and following Test ProceduresOperation of test and launch facility systemsSafely working with hazardous chemicals and high-pressure systemsWorking understanding of standard operational safety practicesDemonstrate a strong bias for safety in operationsPlanning and communicating assembly steps for complex mechanical installationsProviding design feedback on the test stand and test article(s)Flexibility to support launch campaigns as required – this may mean shift work or extended hours based on testing needsWorking with engineers on design concepts/improvements and development testsQualifications:
2+ years of experience in test or launch facility support, testing rocket or jet engines, flight vehicle systems, or closely related applicationsDemonstrated ability to work with:Test, flight, and safety critical hardwareInstrumentation, sensors, and electronicsStandard mechanical tools and fabrication shop equipmentExperience with pneumatic systems, propellant loading, and off-loading systemsMust have to ability to wear respiratory protection equipment and apparel.Familiarity with tube fabrication (bend, flare, fittings, etc.), piping systems, and pressurized system safetyInvolvement in test or launch facility construction, operation, and maintenanceAbility to read and interpret drawings – P&IDs, fabrication drawingsAbility to work at elevations exceeding 40 feet, in personnel lifts and moveable work platforms, including the ability to climb stairs and ladders.Ability to work in confined spaces. Kneeling, bending, and handling weights up to 35 lbs.Work 1st,2nd or 3rd shift, as well as overtime, when necessary.Desired:

Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification, Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.
