This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office three times per week.
The Role
The Launch Program Quality Manager is the arbitrator for all software issues found in the Captured Test Fleet (CTF). You're responsible for investigating and disseminating issues, engaging subject matter experts (SMEs) in the problem-solving process, prioritizing and summarizing issues across a program, and providing feedback on CTF issues in various forums. Works with program teams and Software & Services (S&S) to ensure programs launch with quality. Leads efforts and removes barriers for issue investigation, root cause analysis, and solution implementation for concerns on vehicles belonging to Quality Fleets. Co-leads the planning and execution of Customer Experience Confirmation Rides (CXCRs) and 4-Corner Rides designed to accelerate exposure and issue discovery.

What You'll Do:
Ensure software quality issues are discovered, documented, assigned, prioritized, summarized, and shared promptly and appropriately, and be the voice of quality in leadership discussions, S&S decision making forums, issue discussions, etc.Understand how the collection of issues impacts product quality and customer experience.Summarize and present a comprehensive status of the program’s software quality in various leadership forums.For CTF issues, support Global Incident Management System (GIMS) and Problem Resolution Tracking System (PRTS) issue management, advocate for PRTS for must address issues, support SMEs in PRTS creation, and advise and drive issues to closure.Lead GIMS issue triage and incident-to-issue assignment, including designating issue owners and educating the PQM and Issue Analyst on key stakeholders in S&S.Execute high fidelity CTF program, Customer Experience Confirmation Rides (CXCRs), and 4-Corner Rides to ensure high quality design, execution, and customer experience for vehicle software.Collaborate with the Service Operations, Vehicle Reflash, Engineering, and Program Teams to lead efforts and remove barriers for issue investigation and root cause analysis.Align with and support the Vehicle Program Quality Manager (PQM) as your primary value stream customer.Ensure quality issues are quickly investigated and understood through root cause analysis so that the Program Team can rapidly move to implement a solution.Provide support for issue resolution including VIP diagnostic trouble codes using fleet data collection tools.Help with vehicle access and support efforts to pull data and logs around key issues.Support and guide recovery of disabled vehicles after hours, as required. This may involve data gathering, driver assistance for restoring vehicle operation, and recovery for breakdowns.
