Our team is seeking a qualified person to solve the complex challenges of driving innovation to enable new and expanding operation centers to quickly hit benchmark rates while operating at full capacity. This role will work with multiple stakeholders to manage the expansion and retrofit planning, execution, and launch of existing sites while minimally impacting current operations while in active construction for expansions.
You meet timelines and minimize disruption to partner and engineering teams, especially during their peak efforts. You manage overall schedule, proactively mitigate any risks, and keep the scope of effort under control. You own all program communication. You accelerate progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers, to maintain project timelines.
You will do this while ensuring basic standards are supported throughout the local organization so that they can continue to meet our customer's needs, both internal and external. In this role, you will influence a team comprising of various levels of leaders including those leaders in the field, corporate, planning, and execution contacts connected to a site project. You are responsible for managing an existing program, delivering difficult projects aligned with team goals. You work independently, seeking guidance as needed.
This role calls for an individual who is technically smart to gain credibility with customers and stakeholders at various levels of the organization while being able to call-out and provide solutions to execution risks and action these lessons learned to reduce similar issues in future. This means you may be responsible for manage complex initiatives, delivering critical solutions, significant improvements, new mechanisms, or deprecating processes that are no longer needed. These efforts require you to work with multiple teams in and/or across organizations. You may be accountable for the overall strategy of a large program related to the project lifecycle of projects we support.

· Has the technical aptitude to quickly grasp complex technical issues and communicate directly with technical teams.
This role requires up to 75% regional travel and availability to work from a corporate office when not traveling. Candidates should either live near or be willing to relocate within a reasonable commuting distance of the office. Relocation assistance may be provided.
Key job responsibilities
* Extensive travel, up to 60%
* Develops plans to access buildings allowing execution to maintain delivery timeline while reducing impact to ongoing operations and managing solutions with multiple stakeholders
*Managing day-to-day relationships with AMXL stakeholders as leader will be assigned multiple projects at once
*Effectively managing the process that sets operations up to be successful in an environment that meets customer demand by processing of Amazon orders for our customers which is subject to ever rising volume and complexity, operating on a 24/7 basis
*Driving operational goals and metrics for your launch site and supporting the vision of both the Launch team and the larger AMXL Team
*Presenting operational metrics regularly to the Launch senior leadership team

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
