Launch Coordinator

The Launch Coordinator will support/coordinate overall process for product launches, including ensuring delivery of product, key milestones, and product content. What you'll do... + Understand and consistently apply standard manufacturing operating systems + Support Work Groups for short and long term countermeasures of all abnormalities + Validate and bridge operational needs as required to ensure the line is running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts + Strategic planning and coordination of Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) activities to achieve Safety, Quality, and Productivity objectives + Communication and Recognition + Build Team Leader and Team Member capability + Create a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasks + Basic Administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents You'll have... · High School Diploma · 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) + Experience: + Ability to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends + Ability to work independently with limited supervision + Capable of assigning work to unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments in terms safety, quality, and throughput + Strong organizational and administrative skills + Ability to multi-task + Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills + Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership in One FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills Even better, you may have... · Automotive experience in a vehicle assembly plant · Prior experience handling a unionized work force · Safety and Quality experience preferred · Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles · Ability to work independently with limited supervision · Past experience assigning work to unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments in terms of safety and quality · Strong organizational and administrative skills · Ability to multi-task · Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills · Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding and communication skills You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
