Position Summary

Guggenheim Securities (“GS”) is seeking an exceptional Lateral Recruiter to join its Recruitment team. Reporting to the Head of Recruitment, the Lateral Recruiter will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process across the firm’s business units (Investment Banking, Equities, Legal & Compliance, Support). The Recruiter’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and assisting in the new hire onboarding process.

Essential Job Functions

Manage the candidate and hiring team(s) throughout the entire recruiting process ensuring a positive experienceBalance multiple openings across all businesses and overall manage full life-cycle recruiting processWork directly with hiring managers and broader teams to understand their needs and identify a strategic recruiting plan to identify top talent for their teamsProactively source candidates using a variety of platforms including external career postings, LinkedIn, our internal network, among other sources to build candidate pipelinesReview resumes, screen, and recommend qualified candidatesManage the interview process from start to finish alongside the hiring managers and broader teamsBuild and maintain relationships with select search firms including reviewing and maintaining agreement termsTrack all candidate submissions and maintain data base within firm’s applicant tracking systems (Workday)Collaborate with management, HR, and Finance to structure, prepare and extend appropriate offersCollaborate closely with the HR Business Partner team throughout the offer approval, background check, and onboarding processesWhen necessary, coordinate with the immigration team and external law firms to obtain work authorization for new hiresTrack internal employee referral bonuses and search firm paymentsContinuously identify ways to improve the recruiting process and candidate experienceConduct market research and stay up to date on innovative recruiting trends and practicesManage candidate feedback and progression and maintain a high level of data integrity within the firm’s applicant tracking systemsTrack and analyze recruiting statistics and metrics, to identify key trends and provide process recommendations to stakeholdersAssist overall Operations Team with ad hoc projects

Preferred Qualifications

Detail-oriented, highly organized, and effective time management skillsStrong networking, relationship building and collaboration skillsAbility to work collaboratively on a team and independently with little supervisionStrong project management experience with ability to prioritize and multitask in fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsResourcefulness, intellectual curiosity, and enthusiasmExperience with recruitment tools and programs (iCIMS, Workday, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, etc.)Strong executive presence with gravitas

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is requiredMinimum of 3 years in managing end-to-end recruitment processes, preferably within the Investment Banking, Capital Markets, Financial Services, or professional services industryProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, Power Point

Work Location 

Currently, this role is expected to be in the ­­­­New York office at least 4 days per week. 

Salary

Annual base salary between $90,000 - $130,000The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
